Philosophy: Do not waste your time with envy. We are all our own people. We may believe that we would be better off with a friend’s significant other, job, or even their life, and in response I say: we are all given our own set of circumstances. No two people in this world are alike. Therefore, it is impossible to think that we could have the same enviable outcome in a situation as other individuals.
Do not let envy consume your life; unless we learn to love ourselves we can never learn to love another. Enjoy the things that have been given to you instead of focusing on the things that have not. Once you have learned how to do this, it is not that good things will come to you but rather that you will appreciate the good things that you already have.
